OUR SUCCESS

A new school year is upon us, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. Last
year, because of YOUR generous donations and support, the PTA was able to
purchase 60 brand new Chromebooks, licenses, and a storage cart. It took a
couple years of careful planning and earmarking funds, but we did it! Your
children and their teachers will value these resources for years to come.

OUR PLAN

This year, we hope to support an initiative that includes developing a
Collaborative Learning Commons in our library. The library is the hub of the
school – essentially it’s our largest classroom. We hope to be able to help fund
more practical, customizable furniture that will accommodate collaborative
learning, a maker space (where 21 st century learners can tinker and experiment,)
and additional technology specific to the library.

OUR GOAL

As our school continues to prepare our students for the future, we need to
consider what that future will entail. County funds will likely go to new schools
and schools that have a greater economic need than we do, so WE need to MAKE
it happen!

OUR VISION

Any funds you donate to the PTA (either through direct donation or by
attending fundraising events) help us to support free family-friendly events like
Pastries with Parents, the Variety Show, and student assemblies AND school-wide
initiatives like the purchase of technology (like iPads and Chromebooks) or the
Collaborative Learning Commons.
