• Your PTA pays for assemblies, field trips, learning websites, school technology & enhancements, etc.

• PTA membership dues are used to pay for administrative costs of running our 501c3 non-profit. Also the PTA dues are used by the Virginia PTA board for:

  • ​Local support!

  • Access to National Experts! Our State and National leaders can help you resolve legal, financial or other challenges

  • Toolkits to help you run family engagement events

  • Participation in state and national recognition/award programs

  • State and National advocacy on issues that impact students across the commonwealth & nation, such as a school lunch programs, universal kindergarten, juvenile justice programs, dyslexia support etc.  If you have an issue that you are passionate about, the PTA can help you develop an advocacy program to make an impactful change.
